Never Let Me Go

I like Never Let Me Go. The movie that is. It just fits.

You’re born completed, but you don’t seem to have enough time time to live your life. Your whole life is for other people. To stay alive itself not easy, yet you need to do more than just survive because there are others who depend their lives on you.

You're a donor. You give away part of you piece by piece until you finally give all. For others. For a completion. Is the recipient a good people? Bad people? Important people? A beggar? A family? A stranger? It doesn’t matter. Because they’re the recipients and you’re the donor. Bend the destiny all you want, it wouldn’t change. The Guy up there has decided that it’s your fate.

But of course along the way you try to make way. Try to get a ‘deferral’ by showing you’re in love, or create great works to show that you have passion and dream. The things that confirm you have a soul. But guess what? There is no deferral.

In your life you see people having a great life. But you should know that it stops when they’re dead. But you, although your life is not great, your life is for the greater good. As the movie said.

Then you come to a question whether your fate is really any better than the people who received your donor. Or maybe simply none of us never really understand what we’ve lived through.
